What Are the Keys to Ascension?

What Are the Keys to Ascension?

The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch. This is not a small book — in size, scope, or cost. So, I haven't purchased or read it yet. But over the past weeks, I’ve listened to interviews with J.J. Hurtak and his wife, reviewed summaries, and revisited transcripts discussing its themes. I've included links in the Resource List for those who are curious.
What surprised me was not how foreign the material felt — but how familiar it was! He delves into many of the topics I love to discuss, or teach:
Sacred geometry.
Frequency as the organizing principle of reality.
The merging of science and mysticism.
Consciousness as the bridge between dimensions.
He even explores remote viewing and how everything is connected.
That's a theme with the Institute of Noetic Science, and why remote viewing works well for those willing to learn and practice. Everything you need is already within you — And Everything is connected.
When you've seen beyond yourself Then you may find, peace of mind is waiting there And the time will come when you see we're all one And life flows on within you and without you - George Harrison These are themes I’ve been writing about for years. Not because I studied under Hurtak, but because decades of research, observation, and lived experience have led me to similar terrain. So, this is not a book review. It’s a convergence of ideas, studies and practices that anyone can participate in to increase awareness and knowledge. It’s an exploration of why these ideas continue to surface across traditions — and why they feel especially relevant now, at the end of one cycle and the beginning of the next. The Keys of Enoch proposes that humanity is approaching a threshold (I believe we are in it) — a shift in consciousness that requires preparation. Whether one interprets that shift metaphorically, spiritually, cosmologically, or psychologically, the underlying question is the same: If consciousness is evolving, how do we responsibly participate in that evolution? And what if some of the evolutionary process is a remembering; some kind of epigenetic trauma that we may have gone through in the ancient past when we had been of higher consciousness, then lost it during a traumatic reset; be it a cataclysm such as a comet strike, or a great flood. And the great flood is discussed in many nations around the world as a documented, remembered experience.
Resets of Antiquity
Nearly every ancient culture carries a story of some kind of cataclysmic event that changed their world:
A flood.
A fire.
A war in heaven.
A fall from grace.
A loss of knowledge.
Something happened — whether geological, astronomical, or civilizational, — that fractured continuity. Sacred sciences were reduced to symbols. What had once been truth became allegory. Advanced knowledge, technology, and civilizations were reduced to mythology.
Why do so many traditions preserve the same pattern?
Why do we carry a sense — one difficult to articulate — that something important has been forgotten or lost? Our history, who we are, and where we came from.
The Sumerians spoke of kings who reigned before the flood with extremely long life spans.
The Hebrew scriptures speak of Enoch walking with God, and taken by God before death.
Genesis speaks of “men of renown", giants and heroes.
Zoroastrianism speaks of a renovation of the world.
The Vedas describe Yuga cycles of decline and renewal across vast ages.
The book of Revelation speaks of a final war in an era like none other, as this last spiritual battle between good and evil that brings the new heavens and a new earth into being.
Across traditions, there is a memory of elevation — and a memory of descent, and a promise to rise again within a new world or heaven.
Whether one interprets these accounts literally, or as archetypes, the theme is consistent: humanity once experienced a different relationship to Source Creator, prior to our fall from grace.
Was it technological?
Was it spiritual?
Was it a change in frequency on Earth?
Or was it simply a time when ego had began to harden and we became mired in an illusion of duality?
Many traditions describe the fall not as exile, but as a result of hubris, an overreaching. A dangerous overconfidence that placed self above source. Pride, when it becomes exaggerated, shifts into separation — the illusion of superiority, autonomy, and control.
In ancient Greece, hubris was not merely arrogance but a moral and spiritual transgression that defied divine order. The concept is central to Greek tragedies, where heroes’ downfall is often a direct consequence of their overreaching ambition.
-
Icarus flew too close to the sun, ignoring his father’s warnings, symbolizing the peril of unchecked ambition.
-
Bellerophon, a celebrated hero, attempted to ascend to Mount Olympus, challenging the gods, and was punished with blindness and exile.
-
Niobe, a queen who boasted of her superiority over the goddess Leto, lost all her children as divine punishment.
-
Arachne, a weaver who challenged Athena, was transformed into a spider for her hubris.
-
Phaethon, son of the sun god Helios, demanded to drive the sun chariot and caused chaos before falling to his death.
- Atlantis, a once technologically advanced society, destroyed themselves for lack of wisdom.
Biblically, this is the moment creation forgets its relationship to the Creator. Not necessarily rebellion in a dramatic sense, but a subtle distortion: the belief that we are self-originating rather than interconnected and participants in a living, conscious universe.
In that framing, the “fall” may not have been punishment. It may have been consequence, a descent into denser experience brought about by identification with ego over unity, and forgetting our spiritual nature. Some wonder if there was interference in the type of frequency we had been experiencing.
If so, redemption is not appeasement… It is recalibrating back to that higher frequency.
Anticipated Solar Flash
The Solar Flash Reset is a metaphysical concept rooted in esoteric beliefs, describing a prophesied cosmic event where a sudden burst of high-frequency light from the Sun or Galactic Center triggers a planetary and spiritual transformation. Proponents claim this "flash" will activate dormant human DNA, elevate consciousness to a "fifth-dimensional" state, and initiate a collective ascension, ending the current era of fear and separation. It is speculated that negative, lower astral beings can not survive in the new higher frequencies.
In the Iranian religion of Zoroastrian it’s known as the Froshokereti, meaning "the final renovation" or "refreshing of the universe,". It symbolizes a cyclical cosmic reset where evil is vanquished, all beings are united with the divine, and a new era of harmony begins. In this framework, the Solar Flash is seen as the physical manifestation of Froshokereti—a divine mechanism for planetary purification and renewal, not a destructive cataclysm.
The other cataclysms may have been required to restore balance in a world gone terribly wrong. But as our consciousness has shifted, it may not be required to happen as in the days of yore. But with so little written or carved information on walls and monuments, how is it that we recall something of that past experience, and why is it so prevalent in our thoughts today?
But here's the greater question - Will it be one spectacular event, or have we been receiving a stream of increasing light via solar flares and CMEs, with frequencies that allows us to calibrate over time? In doing so, more people would be likely to survive the shift. That's what a living and loving universe would do, calibrate the pulses to ensure no one is left behind.
What Are We Remembering?
In an era of artificial intelligence and quantum physics, why do conversations about ancient knowledge resurface with such intensity and frequency?
Why does sacred geometry appear in temples, cathedrals, and now digital design?
Why does the idea of the Akashic record — a field of encoded memory — persist across cultures and time?
Some would say these are myths.
Others would say they are metaphors.
Still others would say they are fragments of lived memory — perhaps encoded not in narrative, but in consciousness itself.
Even without invoking past lives, one thing is undeniable:
Human beings carry archetypal memory.
We resonate with patterns we have never been formally taught.
We feel recognition without personal experience.
We are drawn to symbols that predate us by millennia.
Perhaps remembering is not about retrieving specific biographies, but about reclaiming our orientation to the world that was, and how we choose to live today.
To “re-member” — literally — is to bring parts back into wholeness.
Modern science has begun exploring a parallel idea through epigenetics. Researchers have found that environmental factors — stress, nutrition, trauma, hormones, toxins — can leave chemical marks on gene expression. These marks do not alter the DNA sequence itself, but they influence how genes are activated or silenced, sometimes across generations.
In this sense, the body carries a biological record of experience — what some researchers have poetically called “the ghost in your genes.” While this is not memory in the narrative sense, it does suggest that lived experience shapes future physiology and behavior. What one generation endures, the next may inherit as sensitivity, resilience, or adaptation. (https://www.sciencenewstoday.org/the-ghost-in-your-genes-how-epigenetics-remembers-your-ancestors-lives)
If stress can imprint biology, perhaps crisis is not only destructive — but also acting as a catalyst for spiritual growth. Trauma may narrow consciousness in the short term, yet over time it can also produce empathy, cooperation, and deeper awareness of interdependence. Evolution is not always gentle and often emerges through pressure (i.e. coal becoming diamond).
Perhaps remembering is not about recalling specific past lives or forgotten civilizations. It may be more about reclaiming dormant capacities — compassion, coherence, reverence — that once stabilized human societies and now seeks renewed expression. And what if new light codes are the very reason we are experiencing unusual memories and feelings of something pending? It's possible that are bodies are like receivers and amplifiers and we are receiving a signal, without yet knowing how to interpret it. Sensitive people and those who practice meditation may have a better understanding and sense for what is taking place.
The Keys: Not Hidden, But Forgotten
If ancient texts speak in symbols, perhaps the “keys” are not objects, but orientations.
Alignment over arrogance and ego.
Coherence over chaos and fear.
Compassion over conquest and competition
Integration over fragmentation. Re-membering all parts of our experiences, and turning them into lessons for spiritual growth.
The Keys of Enoch speaks of frequency — of humanity learning to resonate with higher orders of intelligence. Whether one interprets this metaphysically or psychologically, the principle is the same: consciousness must refine.
Higher vibrational language is not about escape from the body. It is about mastery of response. Fear contracts perception. Gratitude expands it. Resentment narrows awareness. Love stabilizes it. (See David Hawkins Map of Consciousness)
The preparation for any threshold — whether subtle or dramatic — begins in the field, or vibrational energy we carry. Nilola Tesla once said: "If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration." Higher frequencies and vibrations raise awareness and consciousness. They can also create mystical experiences.
If there is a “reset,” it may not be imposed from above. It is more likely to emerge from within. It's our choice, our free will, in what we wish to experience. Choose wisely.
A Threshold, Not an Escape
Perhaps the great return so many traditions speak of is not a single figure descending from the sky, but a frequency rising within humanity.
What is The Great Return? In Catholic theology, The Great Return refers to the spiritual return of creation (us) to God, but probably not in the form of a rapture type event.
This concept frames human history as a journey away from God (exitus) then toward a final return to the Creator (reditus). The movement is seen as a call to repentance, authentic worship, and spiritual renewal, especially in response to modern apostasy and secularism.
What if the “second coming” is not a savior coming back to Earth, but a frequency - Christ consciousness settling into those willing to carry it. That would represent a maturation of awareness and restoration of alignment with God.... and God is love. 1 John 4:8
The ancient texts tell of a few who “walked with God” — Enoch, Elijah, Melchizedek. Whether their translation (a divine transfer or movement from one state or place to another), often involving a change in spiritual condition. Whether literal, symbolic, dimensional, or misunderstood by the language of their time, the pattern remains consistent: humility, surrender, devotion, coherence. These may be the literal keys to the kingdom. 🔑 🗝️
They ascended through coherence; their spiritual return to an alignment with God.

Just Kidding![/caption]
If there is a coming illumination in consciousness — solar, symbolic, or subtle — it may not remove us from the Earth as in a rapture event. It may reveal who has prepared inwardly.
The keys are not hidden in vaults or spacecraft. They are practiced daily:
Gratitude over grievance or fear. Compassion over conquest or competition. Restraint of ego, Respect for free will. Participation in a conscious universe rather than resistance to it. My Grandmother said it best. When we have a problem, we don’t know how to resolve, relax, use your prayers to ask for assistance, then, Let go and let God. That connection works more often than you many know.
If advanced civilizations exist, perhaps they are not waiting to rescue us, but to witness whether we can govern ourselves without destroying one another. And if there truly is a non-interference clause, we will need to become our own saviors and heroes.
Ascension, then, is not escape from the human story. It’s the refinement of it.
And if a reset is unfolding or imminent as many of us feel— whether through the turn of the Great Year, solar cycles, or a collective awakening — it will not be forced upon the unwilling. Free will gives you the right to choose which path to follow.
It will meet those who have reduced the noise of ego and strengthened the signal of love.
And perhaps, for the first time in a long while, humanity is beginning to remember who it was meant to be, or to recall how great it was at one time, when we may have walked as angles, or men and women of renown — Heroes!
If a great turning is upon us, I doubt it will be announced by thunder and angels on white horses, although that would be wondrous to see!
It will be recognized by those who have already quelled their ego, strengthened their compassion, and chosen love and coherence over chaos.
I created new videos for these songs which feel quite appropriate for this article. Enjoy!
