As a reading maniac who kept running out of drawers to stuff books into, the first device I ever begged for as a kid was an e-reader. More specifically, a Kindle. Given the unfortunate lack of furniture left to sacrifice, my parents had no choice but to cave in and buy me one. I eventually switched to an iPad with the intention of using it to take notes for my college classes, and foolishly thought it would double as an e-reader since it has a perfectly good screen for reading.
