Yes, you can turn your old iPad into a dedicated PC monitor
I try to incorporate tablets into my workflow regularly in a variety of ways, but not many of them seem to stick. Put simply, I prefer the precise and reliable keyboard and mouse input of a traditional desktop operating system, like macOS or Windows. One of my favorite ways to use a tablet is actually as a secondary monitor for my computers and laptops. I've tried all kinds of external portable monitors and dual display systems, but nothing is as low-key and reliable as a tablet for working in a coffee shop or public space.
