This free open-source scheduling tool is better than every paid alternative
I have used several paid scheduling tools, like Calendly and Doodle. What each of them has in common is intentionally limited free plans. So I tried something different: Cal.com, which is a commercial open source software (COSS). Like some of the paid tools I mentioned, it has paid versions. But there is one big difference. The free tier gives a lot of options, and you can enjoy pro features if you choose to self-host the tool. I have been leaning toward a self-hosted stack, which I started with by hosting a Google Drive alternative. Self-hosting Cal.com is another step in that direction, and it has proven to be a better option than paid alternatives.
