There’s still one reason I won’t leave Samsung Messages for Google
On most new Android phones, there is a good chance that Google Messages is the default text messaging app. In particular, the latest Samsung Galaxy phones no longer come pre-installed with Samsung Messages in favor of Google Messages. Google has spent years pushing hard to make it the standard app and get everyone on board with RCS, which stands for Rich Communication Service. RCS is great for sending high-quality photos and seeing what the other person is typing.
