I’m ditching Google Authenticator for this gorgeous open-source alternative
I used Google Authenticator long enough to know it gets the work done. However, the one issue I couldn't stop overlooking is how invisible this tool and the Google ecosystem made my Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) codes feel. These codes remained backed up within my Google account and protected by the same account they are supposed to secure. This circular logic really bothered me.
