Wireless earbuds have changed the game for audio and video calls, enabling convenient and private chats. However, they're not a perfect solution for calls and meetings. For one, wireless earbuds need to be charged and rely on finicky Bluetooth connections, creating a few points of failure. Another major consideration is quality. On average, truly-wireless earbuds have microphones that sound worse than wired ones, even those that cost a fraction of the price. I own a few pairs of wired earbuds and a fancy DJI Mic 2 wireless microphone system for when I need the best quality as a result.
