Auracast is Bluetooth’s coolest new trick and I finally get the hype
Bluetooth is a wireless connectivity technology we've come to take for granted, and it hasn't really changed that much in more than two decades of life. That is, until recently, when Bluetooth Low Energy Audio came into the picture. It's a modern alternative to the older Bluetooth Classic Audio system that prioritizes high-quality audio, low-latency connections, and long battery life. Bluetooth LE Audio is still available alongside Bluetooth Classic Audio, and it requires a specialized Low Energy radio. When you start using it on supported devices, you gain access to the LC3 codec and a handy feature called Auracast.
