Samsung’s Photo Assist fixed my half-eaten burger and I can’t stop using it
One of the unique, standout features of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series phones, including the top line Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, is called Photo Assist. With this upgraded use of AI in photography, you can take photos — even ones you didn't shoot with the phone — and alter them in unique ways. I have done everything from switching the color of my blouse to adding hats and sunglasses on people, even changing a sweater to a T-shirt. But there's one aspect of this feature that really blew me away: the ability to add missing parts back into items in photos. Samsung's example is adding back a missing piece of birthday cake if someone grabbed a slice before you got the obligatory photo, for example.
