My router was in the worst possible position — moving it changed everything
I recently moved to a new house and figured out something odd about the internet. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly fine in one part of my home, and was frustratingly slow in another. When I’m sitting in the living room, everything loads instantly. My videos played without any buffering issues, my WhatsApp calls were stable, and I could download stuff without any problems. But the moment I step into my bedroom, everything would change. My video calls started dropping, streaming was unreliable, and some websites would take longer to load.
