Signing day celebrates SPS’ new welding apprentices
Six students from Springfield Public Schools have become the first to participate in a Registered Youth Apprenticeship Program certified by the U.S. Department of Labor, with five joining Paul Mueller Company as aspiring welders and one signing on as an apprentice with Fields Mechanical Systems.
