Reshaping Perspectives and Our Reality

Reshaping Perspectives and Our Reality
Rev. Kat Carroll How do you view the world? Is it friendly, beautiful, frightening, ugly, humorous? Your view of the world will have a lot to do with the filters you were raised with:- The views of your grandparents, parents, and siblings
- School acquaintances and teachers and friends
- Religious leaders and practices, if you participate
But what if I told you that what you believe inwardly is what shapes your reality—not the other way around?
Life doesn’t happen to you, but for you—to help you advance spiritually.
Everything can be a lesson, from the greatest experiences to the most difficult ones.
In those moments, you might ask yourself:
What is the lesson here?
Is it about gratitude?
Is it revealing a fear, so that you can finally see the illusion and what lies beyond it?
There is another quote that’s been used often, but it bears repeating to make the lesson stick:
We must become students of history and how nations controlled their populations. We need to see the repeating patterns—even in today’s world. AI deep fakes, fake news and propaganda abound. Especially in today's world, which appears to be at the precipice. Perhaps not of a fall—but a leap into the new golden age, if we're ready to take it.
Conflict shapes human consciousness. But it can also be considered a catalyst for change.
Does this mean that the deep state or a hidden government is working for your good? Not necessarily. But... what if it’s all divinely guided toward a certain outcome? What if we’ve been programmed to expect the worst when it may not be a bad outcome at all? It's causing massive shifts in awareness, and helping us to make better choices.
One thing that such catalysts do for humanity is to get us thinking.
The Q drops did the same by asking questions that made people think for themselves, research, and discern. Many have awakened because of that stimulus—to look deeper, and to look within.
As I’m writing today, we experienced a rather noisome thunderstorm in the Bay Area.

The feral cat we named Mocha[/caption]
I suddenly found myself surrounded by all four of my cats—and an unexpected visitor—seeking refuge from the storm. No one had the heart to turn him away. Though wary of people and likely abandoned, he knows where it’s safe.
His perspective of us is different.
And perhaps the storms he has endured—hunger, loneliness, uncertainty—are not so different from the lightning and thunder we experience through the news we consume… depending on how we choose to see them. Storms have benefits:
- storms clear static
- lightning charges the field
- animals seek coherence and comfort
“X dropped a reminder about Trump releasing UFO files imminently, with a statement about looking up. In another statement today, he's signed executive orders related to energy. Last night a podcaster was saying the earth can’t take more drilling and our use of oil as fuel. Guess what tomorrow, April 22 is... Earth Day.
Can you feel it coming?” Cue the Phil Collins music 😁
Depending on your perspective, your observations, the filters of your past, and the kind of information you follow—you will either see catastrophe… or something remarkable beginning to emerge.
I embrace the latter, as I’ve been watching these patterns unfold for much of my life. I'm also that "glass half full" kind of gal. I love history. My Aunt worked at NASA for 4 decades.
Did you know we had already discovered anti-gravity and mass reduction technology as early as the 1930s?
As quickly as we replace our phones and computers with upgraded versions, do you really think advancements in transportation, energy, and infrastructure simply stopped evolving?
Or is it possible that some of these developments have continued—quietly—out of public view?
So whether these changes begin to appear in the skies, in public documents, or through official releases, it’s becoming clear to me that something is shifting… and perhaps becoming more visible. And hopefully available for all.
Some may only see the fear of war, threats of conflict, and division between nations.
That is one way to interpret what we are being shown.
But if you look beyond the surface—beyond the emotional pull of fear and confusion—you may begin to see something entirely different.
As I do.
From my perspective, things are looking up. And perhaps… we should be doing more of that.
And when you’re not looking up, take a moment to look within—in quiet reflection.
Something has shifted. You may have felt it… even if you can’t quite explain it.
We’ve been taught to see ourselves as mere mortals—limited, reactive, shaped by the world around us.
But what if that was never the full truth?
What if we were always meant to be more—
to create, to influence, to become… exactly what we were told we are?
